Meeting Mary - Mary Help of Christians

Friday, May 24, 2024

The Triduum Feast Day Celebration honored Mary Help of Christians, a feast deeply rooted in the Salesian tradition. The event was spread over three days, each filled with meaningful activities to deepen participants' devotion to Mary.

On the first day, participants took part in a Eucharistic Adoration visit, spending time in prayer and reflection, focusing on Mary as a source of help and strength.

The following day, participants joined in a creative activity, making a bouquet of colorful flowers using pipe cleaners in shades of pink, blue, and white. As they worked on their flowers, they learned about the various Salesian family groups, which include: Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB), Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA), Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA), and the Association of Salesian Cooperators (ASC).

On the third day, participants joined the Salesian families and parishioners in a vibrant procession in honor of Mary Help of Christians. Together, they helped carry the statue of Mary, which was beautifully adorned with dozens of flowers. As the procession moved around the church perimeter, everyone prayed the rosary, reinforcing their commitment to Mary and the Salesian mission.

This Triduum event brought the community together in saying "yes" like Mary, prayer, creativity, and active participation with the Salesian allowing everyone to deepen their devotion to Mary Help of Christians and celebrate the unity of the Salesian family.
