Lenten Mission 2023

Monday-Wednesday, April 3-5, 2023

The three-day Lenten Mission focused on the significance of Holy Week and Easter. Over the course of the event, ADMA-Y dedicated two hours each day to reflecting on these key moments in the Christian faith. On the first two days, we explored Holy Thursday and Good Friday. For Holy Thursday, participants took part in a skit depicting the Last Supper. On Good Friday, we recreated the 14 Stations of the Cross, with participants actively involved in bringing this powerful journey to life. Through this, we reflected on Jesus' ultimate sacrifice — His death on the cross for our sins. As Catholics, we are called to give our lives to God and to others, just as Jesus gave His life for us. On the final day, we focused on the importance of Easter, celebrating Jesus’ resurrection and His victory over death, offering us the gift of eternal life. We also took time to reflect on our Lenten promises and how we can continue to align our lives with Christ, not just during Lent, but throughout the entire year. We meditated in silence, in the darkness, and prayed in gratitude for Jesus’ sacrifice, reminding ourselves of the power of forgiveness as He taught us
