ADMA-Y Kickoff
Saturday, April 9, 2022
After a year of careful planning and formation, ADMA-Y USA West hosted its inaugural meeting, marking a significant milestone in our journey. The gathering began with a reflection on the importance of Mary Help of Christians, emphasizing her role as both our intercessor and Mother. We also introduced the profound vision of Saint John Bosco, sharing his dream of the Two Pillars, which symbolizes the spiritual foundation of ADMA.
To help the young attendees understand the roots and purpose of ADMA, we provided a thorough explanation of the organization's history and its mission, drawing them into the heart of the Salesian charism. The day was filled with engaging icebreakers and interactive activities, designed to foster connection and community among the participants. We were grateful to have the support of the Salesian postulants from St. Dominic Savio Parish in Bellflower, California, whose assistance was invaluable in facilitating these activities.
The meeting was not only an opportunity to learn and reflect but also a chance to build relationships and strengthen the bonds within the Salesian family. It set the stage for future gatherings and the continued growth of ADMA-Y in the USA West region.
