Beginning early in the morning and concluding with Mass in the afternoon, the ADMA-Y leadership team had the privilege of planning and facilitating the 1st Year Confirmation Student’s Day Retreat. This year’s retreat theme, "You Are Not Alone," was carefully chosen to remind the young participants of God's constant presence in their lives.

The day’s focus centered around the powerful parable of the footprints in the sand, using it as a lens to reflect on the challenges and emotional experiences many young people face. We discussed how we often put on different masks depending on the people we're with, how loneliness can creep in, and how we may struggle to feel truly accepted. But through these conversations, we emphasized a crucial message: no matter what, God is always with us, guiding and supporting us through every moment of our journey, even when we don't recognize it.

A special thank you goes out to the incredible team of volunteers who dedicated their day to inspire the youth, helping them to understand that they are never alone in their struggles, and most importantly, they are never alone in their faith. This retreat not only offered a spiritual awakening but also a sense of community, reinforcing the importance of walking together in both the highs and lows of life.
