Children’s Liturgy of the Word

Sunday, February 23, 2025

ADMA-Y & the Facilitators hosted its first-ever Children’s Liturgy of the Word after years of its hiatus, where over 45 children gathered to experience and learn from the sacred readings and Gospel. This special event was made possible with the support of 9 dedicated young teens and 6 ADMA Facilitators, who helped guide and engage the children throughout the session.

During the Liturgy, the children heard the message of the day, focusing on the theme of "Loving Your Enemies." The Gospel emphasized the importance of kindness, forgiveness, and treating others with love, even those who may be difficult to love. The children were reminded that the Lord rewards those who act with fairness and righteousness in their hearts. The event was not only a meaningful opportunity for the children to deepen their understanding of God's teachings, but also served as a powerful reminder of the importance of community support in fostering spiritual growth. Thanks to the team of volunteers and facilitators, the children had a memorable and impactful experience, setting a positive tone for future liturgies.
